What Is Jet Lag?

What Is Jet Lag?0Jet lag happens when people travel quickly across different time zones. Our bodies have an internal clock that tells us when to sleep, eat, and wake up. When we change time zones, this clock gets confused.

People with jet lag may feel tired during the day or have trouble sleeping at night. They might also feel dizzy, hungry at odd times, or not like themselves.

Jet lag may last a few days as your body adjusts to the new time zone. To feel better, drink water, spend time in the Sun, and stick to the new schedule. Resting before your trip can also help reduce jet lag.
