 Perfume is made by mixing liquids with strong, pleasant scents. First, perfume makers must extract essential oils from plants. There are various ways to do this, like distillation and boiling.
After collecting the essential oils, they mix these with alcohol and water. Alcohol helps dissolve the oils and disperse the scent into the air when used in a spray.
After mixing, the perfume rests in a cool, dark area for several months to a year. It allows the scent to become stronger and more complex. Once the perfume is ready, it is put in pretty bottles and sent to stores. That’s how we get perfumes!
