Lee Isaac Chung0Lee Isaac Chung is an accomplished Korean-American filmmaker. Born to Korean immigrant parents, he grew up on a small farm in rural Arkansas. Although he enrolled at Yale University to study ecology, he switched to filmmaking during his senior year. Chung earned his Master of Fine Arts in film in 2004 from the University of Utah. He rose to prominence with his semi-autobiographical film Minari (2020), which received critical acclaim. In South Korea, his latest movie Twisters, the sequel to the 1996 film Twister, premiered on Aug. 14.
