Bees Can Be Blue!

Bees Can Be Blue!0Did you know that bees don’t just come in yellow and black? Unlike honeybees, carpenter bees are bright blue.

These bees do not live in hives. Instead, they make their nests by making holes in wood. Carpenter bees are solitary creatures, meaning they live alone rather than in large colonies like honeybees do. They are also gentle and rarely sting people.

Carpenter bees pollinate flowers, helping them grow. They make honey like honeybees do, but their honey is much thicker.
